I am writing this review to express my disappointment with Nest/Google. I received an email from Nest with a promotional offer of a free indoor Nest camera if you pay in full for a Nest Aware subscription.

After paying, I was informed that I would get an email about the offer. However, I did not receive any email. I called customer service, and they had no record of this offer. Then, they said the offer was for Nest Aware Plus.

I then found an email stating that this information was incorrect. I submitted the email for review and was told I wasn't eligible because I had Nest Aware previously and the offer was for new customers. This company sends emails to previous customers so they can pay in full for a subscription instead of monthly, preventing you from cancelling. It also offers a free camera if you pay for the service.

This behaviour is deceptive and dishonest.

I will never purchase another product from this company. Their intentional actions to get more revenue are unacceptable.

There is no help I just got this thermostat 4 months ago and it stop working and I cant get help or get it charged what can I do this is ridiculous it won connect to the internet and wont set up

My call never got answered because my phone pad doesnt work when they tell me five different choices press five different buttons of my choice. My choices never get forwarded.

The bottom line is the reason above was there before I made my call and its still there as my complaint.

I thought my call could fix it. Ive only had the thermostat a year and still dont understand how to use it or doesnt work as described.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with the Nest thermostat I purchased. Over the last three years, I have bought three Nest thermostats, and I am frustrated that they are supposed to be guaranteed for a certain period but only last two years before breaking down.

When I reached out to Nest for assistance, I received no satisfaction, no customer service, and no accountability.

This level of service is unacceptable. A thermostat should last much longer than two years, and honestly, I would have been better off with a simple $30 thermostat instead of wasting my money on Nest products.

Nest Labs charge me illegally $160 for Nest Aware even though I have NEST AWARE PLUS from Google Store subscription to October 21 2025

I had no help with a minor problem I will never ever ever refer anyone to nest ever again nest is the worse commit compared communication is no good. All I need help with was a switch that when I go back to previous Reels, it will pay it back but yet sent me to a telemarketer computer that wanted to charge me money to help me if I was not a Christian, this all would be fowling language. Im selling my cameras.

The option to cool down the house is not visible anymore. It only allows us to heat the house.

There is nobody I can call to walk me through the process of getting it fixed. That is horrible customer service.

There is nothing I can do and to speak with somebody. Theyre trying to charge me five dollars, which is complete garbage in my book.

Can't speak English, can't understand them, issues not resolved. I will never call them again and I recommend no one else do the same.

Rep was very helpful but let face it the product sucks I have 7 of nest termostats almost every year I have to buy new one because the old dose not work any more seem like the micro relay that inside are cheap china crap seem like those divises are only have couple (2-3) years working period and then guess what TIME TO BUY NEW ONE

Number is inactive listed on the internet but message says its inactive why is it advertised if it doesnt work and how can I get in touch with google about brand new nest thermostat , second set of new thermostats with the same issue, wont connect to the google home app and cant use the original nest app

I had something happened last night or early this morning. I need to see what my camera picked up. It's just showing this afternoon

The thermostat disconnected from the network when everything else in the house is working and connected. We tried for hours to connect it typing in the network name instructions, etc.

It didnt work.

We tried calling and theres no way you can get a live person to help you. Its ridiculous.

The phone number given on the site is out of service. This is a poor way to run a business very disappointing.

Don't know what the pin would be keeps going to unlock but for 2 days we're not getting any response!!!

Trying to get a live person on the phone is hell..still have no heat..dont buy nest thermostat too much issues and many cold nights and days trying to get help
